Curzon Capital Limited is a London-based alternative investment adviser dedicated to structuring and distributing innovative, tax-efficient investment products primarily for promotion through the UK IFA community.

In May 2009 we launched CFD Capital-protected Discretionary Managed Accounts. "Curzon CFDs" comprise a stockbroker managed account containing an allocation to a Contracts For Difference trading programme (30% approx) and an allocation to corporate bonds issued by UK high street banks (65% approx). The combination of these two investments provide the prospect of highly-geared returns on short term movements in a small number of the most liquid FTSE stocks together with the potential for capital protection afforded by an allocation to a highly-rated UK bank bond maturing in around 5 years time at which point it should repay an amount equivalent to the entire investment in Curzon CFDs.

In addition to Curzon CFDs, we have a series of Guernsey-regulated, open-ended investment funds designed to allow investors of all types to gain tax-efficient exposure to a number of alternative asset classes such as off-plan, buy-to-let investments in selected countries of Eastern Europe and investment grade wines from the Bordeaux region of France. The first of these funds was Poland Geared Growth, which provides a geared exposure to new residential property investments in Poland. Fine Wine Geared Growth was launched in March 2008 and the Romania Geared Growth fund was launched in August 2008.
